At Pinocchio Child Care Center, Inc., we believe that children learn best through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and nurturing relationships. Our program supports every aspect of a child’s growth , cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development, while honoring each child’s culture and individuality. Teachers intentionally guide activities to spark curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen social skills, laying a strong foundation for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Curriculum Highlights

Our curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child, encouraging academic, social, and emotional growth in a way that feels fun and natural.

Toddler(Ages 2-3)
A gentle introduction to group learning.
Our toddler program focuses on building independence, language development, and social skills in a safe and loving environment. Daily activities include music, sensory play, storytime, and outdoor exploration.

Preschool Program(Ages 3-4)
Hands-on learning through play.
Preschoolers are encouraged to ask questions, explore their environment, and build confidence through guided play. Our curriculum includes early literacy, math, art, science, and plenty of movement to keep little bodies active.

Pre-K /Transitional Kindergarten(Ages 4-5)
Kindergarten readiness, the fun way.
Our Pre-K program helps children master early reading, writing, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. We focus on building self-confidence and social-emotional readiness so children can start elementary school with excitement and ease.

Flexible Schedules(All Ages)
Learning and care, on your time.
We offer part-day and full-day options, with extended care available for working parents. Meals and snacks are provided to support healthy habits.

Daily Schedule

This schedule offers a glimpse of what a typical day might look like at our schools. Each classroom has its own unique rhythm, so your child’s experience may vary slightly.

Play-Based Learning

Children learn best through hands-on exploration and play! We create an engaging environment where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and learning feels like an adventure.

Language & Literacy

Early communication skills set the stage for future success. Through daily storytime, singing, phonics activities, and vocabulary-building games, children develop strong listening and speaking skills that prepare them for reading and writing.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Exploration

From simple science experiments to counting games and building activities, we spark an early love for science, technology, engineering, and math. Children learn problem-solving, observation, and critical thinking, all while having fun.

Arts & Music

Creativity comes alive through painting, singing, dancing, and dramatic play. These experiences help children express themselves, build confidence, and develop fine motor skills while exploring their imaginations.

Social-Emotional Growth

Learning to work with others is just as important as ABCs and 123s. We teach sharing, turn-taking, teamwork, and emotional awareness, helping children build healthy relationships and confidence in group settings.

Snacks and Meals

Ensures children enjoy nutritious, well-balanced meals to stay focused and ready to learn.

Morning Snack: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Dinner: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Families receive a monthly meal calendar with your admissions packet, so you’ll always know what’s on the menu. If your child has any food allergies, please let us know, we want every mealtime to be safe and enjoyable for them.

Supporting growth in both body and mind. This enriching activity is offered at no-cost to all enrolled families.

Health & Safety

Your child’s health and safety are our highest priority. Our facilities are kept clean and well-maintained, with secure entry systems and strict sign-in/out procedures so only authorized adults have access. Classrooms and play areas are designed for safe exploration, and teachers are trained in CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness. We follow state health and safety regulations, conduct regular fire and earthquake drills, and maintain low teacher-to-child ratios so children are always well-supervised.

To keep everyone healthy, we follow strict handwashing routines, daily health checks, and illness policies that require children and staff to stay home when sick. All children must have up-to-date immunizations, and we work closely with families to manage allergies, medications, and special health needs.
