Enrollment is simple! Families can schedule a tour, complete an application, and submit required forms. We proudly offer the California State Preschool Program (CSPP) for qualifying families, providing free or low-cost preschool education. Contact us to check eligibility and secure your child’s spot.

Eligibility Criteria

Pinocchio Child Care Center participates in the California State Preschool Program (CSPP), which serves children ages 2–4 years old, with priority given to 4-year-olds. Eligibility is based on family size and income, according to the California Department of Education’s income ceilings. Children receiving child protective services, experiencing homelessness, foster children, or those with exceptional needs are given highest priority. Families may contact our office to review current income eligibility charts and see if they qualify.

Required Documents for Enrollment

To determine eligibility, families must provide:

• Child’s birth certificate or proof of age

• Proof of income for all working parents

(pay stubs, tax returns, self-employment records)

• Proof of address (utility bill, rental agreement)

• Child’s current immunization record

• Physician’s report of health examination

Additional documents may be required if the family is receiving child protective services, experiencing homelessness, or if parents are students or self-employed.

Tuition

We believe quality early education should be accessible to every family. Tuition is based on a sliding scale determined by household size and income, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to benefit from our programs. Families may qualify for reduced or no-cost enrollment, and we offer flexible schedules to meet different needs. Our goal is to partner with parents so that finances are never a barrier to a child’s growth and learning.
